Ask anybody, and they'll tell you: dating in New York is hard. Ask a gay man, he'll give you a cabaret! Featuring an array of songs by Cole Porter, John Bucchino, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber and more, join playwright and performer Steven Carl McCasland for a hilarious and hopeful evening of music is sure to be a special time. With his usual partner-in-crime, James Horan, at the keys, and Steven's signature wit, the evening is bound to be a special one.
Steven Carl McCasland returns to The Duplex with a new show, after his "hilarious" and "effervescent" evenings celebrating Charles Strouse and Elaine Stritch. Primarily a playwright, McCasland is best known for his critically acclaimed Little Wars. Additional plays include What Was Lost, 28 Marchant Avenue, neat & tidy and Memorare. When not in the theatre, he teaches music to children and adults of all ages.
"A powerful voice... Almost every song from start to finish could serve as a highlight by displaying McCasland’s poise, efficiency, and tremendous voice." - Cabaret Scenes
